Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-01-27

This Privacy Policy explains how StatIO collects, uses, and shares information when you use the StatIO service ("Service").

1. Information we collect
  • Account information (e.g., email, name, profile photo) provided through supported authentication providers.
  • Billing metadata for subscriptions (managed by Stripe). StatIO does not receive full payment card details.
  • Monitor configuration (targets, schedules, headers or payloads you provide, and other settings).
  • Monitoring results (timestamps, statuses, latency, error details, and metrics you emit, including via push monitors).
  • Operational logs and basic telemetry needed to run, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How we use information
  • Provide dashboards, analytics, alerting, authentication, and core service operations.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and debug reliability issues.
  • Communicate with you about support requests and important service notices (e.g., billing, security, and operational changes).
  • Improve product usability and performance using aggregated usage analytics and diagnostics.

3. Cookies and tracking

StatIO may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication sessions, security, and basic product functionality (for example: keeping you signed in).

StatIO may also use privacy-focused analytics to understand product usage and improve the Service. StatIO does not sell personal information.

4. Third-party providers

StatIO uses third-party providers to operate the Service, including:

  • Payment processing: Stripe (for subscriptions and invoicing).
  • Authentication/identity providers (for login and account access, when enabled).
  • Analytics and error diagnostics providers (to understand usage and improve reliability).
  • Infrastructure providers (compute, storage, networking, and email delivery as needed).

We share information with these providers only as needed to operate the Service. Providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Data ownership and confidentiality

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (including monitor configurations and monitoring results).

StatIO does not sell your personal information. We use commercially reasonable efforts to respect customer privacy to the fullest extent and to limit access to customer data to authorized personnel and systems needed to operate the Service.

Note: If you include sensitive information in monitor payloads, headers, or emitted metrics, you are responsible for that data. Avoid sending secrets unless required for your use case.

6. Sharing

StatIO shares information only as needed to operate the Service (for example, with infrastructure, authentication, analytics, and payment providers), to comply with law, or to protect StatIO and users. StatIO does not sell your personal information.

7. Data retention

StatIO retains account and monitoring data for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request access, export, or deletion, subject to operational and legal requirements (for example: billing records, security logs, and abuse prevention needs).

8. Security

StatIO uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices

You can stop using the Service at any time. To request access, export, or deletion of your data, contact support@statio.net.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
